Vinca
Vinca, also known as Periwinkle is what I call a "sometime perennial " as they can surprise you and come up from seeds dropped by last year's plant. Some call them "lesser Periwinkle" and are considered "invasive "!
I think they are beautiful and dependable. I plant them every year! Here is the full painting.
